Who Will Win among the Battle of Smart Phone Operating System
Symbian operating system (Symbian OS), RIM Blackberry operating system (RIM Blackberry OS), and Android operating system (Android OS) and so on, which one will you choose? Sometimes, a mobile operating system can reflect a person’s lifestyle.
Symbian system seemly appears with Nokia. Several years ago, Symbian system is cooperated with Sony Ericsson. Then in 2008, the Symbian Software Limited was taken over by Nokia and a new non-profit organization called Symbian Foundation came into existence. So Symbian was Nokia’s proprietary operating system until the phone giant decided to open-source it. Today, Symbian operating system controls 42 percent of the market. According to the Analyst firm, we know that Google’s Android will also overtake the iPhone OS by 2012. Due to the its opening resource, the number of Android devices is expanding rapidly.
The most superiority of RIM’s BlackBerry operating system is its email. BlackBerry is a two-way paging mode mobile mail system and compatible with existing wireless data link. It is very perfect to sync with Blackberry operating system and desktop PC, it can be automatically forwarded to your Blackberry in the Outlook e-mail. So Blackberry Phones are considered the best email machines.
I think the surrounded people know the iOS clearly if people who mentioned iPhone. This operating system features the largest mobile store in the world, superb multimedia capabilities, great software iPod, the best mobile browser, and a responsive, easy-to-use UI based on icons and animations. Enterprise features include a built-in Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for push email, contact, and calendar, the support for secure VPN connections and Cisco routers, remote wipe, administrator and deployment tools and so on.
Of course Window Phones is also a very excellent system. The Windows CE operating system gave rise to Windows Mobile 6 Professional and Windows Mobile 6 standard in February 2007. But overall, this operating system has not become popular because the user interface is not good enough for touch inputs and has to be operated by a stylus.
